      About CancerNet
CancerNet is dedicated to dissemination of new, evidence-based information regarding prevention, screening, diagnosis, prognosis and the management of cancer in the context of clinical practice. CancerNet and A. Webb Roberts Center for Continuing Medical Education of Baylor Health Care System (AWRC) have jointly developed a comprehensive curriculum with a series of continuing medical education (CME) activities to educate medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, surgical oncologists, pulmonologists, translational investigators, other physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, pharmacists on the latest advances in the diagnosis, treatment and understanding of lung cancer, head & neck cancer, breast cancer, colorectal cancer, non-colorectal gastrointestinal cancers, genitourinary cancer, and hematological malignancies. CancerNet promotes the interchange of nuances between community-based oncologists and academic clinical/translational researchers. These CME programs are offered in several formats such as: Regional Symposia, Emerging Treatments and Advances, Recent Advances, and International Conferences both as live programs and web-based events. These CME programs will include interactive and didactic presentations from internationally recognized thought leaders from academic and clinical settings, with ample opportunity for participant interaction with faculty in order to improve overall knowledge acquisition and retention.
